  1. I think you really need to research the basics of adoption more before you think about fund raising for it. Here are some sites for that and for foster adoption:

    http://www.informedadoptions.com/

    http://www.ethicanet.org/

    http://www.adoptioninstitute.org/index.p...

    http://www.adoptivefamilies.com/foster/

    http://www.adoptuskids.org/

    http://adopting.adoption.com/child/foste...

    http://adoption.about.com/od/adopting/

    http://www.foster-adopt.org/

  2. I am an adoptee and adoptive mommy and have written an EXTENSIVE website about adoption (my favorite topic)

I think you will find the answers to everything you ever wanted to know about adopting an infant,child..or doing foster adopt.

Check our my fundraising section. Lots of good stuff from those of us who have been there!

I am a foster mother so there's a lot about foster parenting too!

    adoptive-parenting.com

  3. Well, for foster parenting, you might want to try your state's website, probably under the health/human services department.  That will give you information on requirements for becoming a licensed foster carer.

A good adoption website is www.informedadoptions.com  It is a forum with many knowledgeable members who have adopted children and can help you through the process.

As far as fund raising, sorry, I don't have any suggestions for you on that one.

  4. What is found-raising? Do you hope to pluck a basket containing a baby out of a river one day?

Reaseach the primal wound, adoptee blogs and attachment disorders.

  5. Call your local 'social service' state agency..and ask for information about being a foster parent.  There are guidelines that have to be met as far as your age and your home conditions etc.  If you think you can qualify and you want to try this..go for it.  It's a good way to see if you can really bond to someone elses child...which is not as easy as you may think...even when adopting.
