I need to find out about a few chemicals like HCL, what organs they target, what kind of first aid to render in case you come in contact with it, the NFPA rating and extinguisher type and the LD50 etc, but so far, the only MSDS that I have been able to find online wants to charge me. Do you know of any other MSDS websites which don't charge?

  1. Websites that sell chemicals often have some of the best MSDS, and they're all free (I think they might be required to provide them free of charge).

My favorite are the JT Baker MSDSs - go to http://www.mallbaker.com and under the drop-down menu near the search box, select MSDS.  Type in the chemical name, and hit search.

Google, yahoo, and other search engines work well too, and can help find MSDSs from small manufacturers, often the only source for info on obscure chemicals.  Just type in the chemical name with MSDS...

  2. I found some MSDSs on the site below
