What are some yummy vegetables that will keep my budgie happy and healthy?

Question

I am preparing to adopt a budgie soon and I was fixing up the cage when I realized that there were two feeding thingies for my budgies. One for the grain cocktail food, one for the vegetables, I figured.

So then it got me thinking, what exactly are some good vegetables for my budgie to eat? I know that they can use broccoli as a toy, and they like to bathe in wet lettuce, but are there any others?

I feed my African Grey apples, grapes, brocolli, and carrots as her typical daily diet.  I'll offer her other veggies, but she just throws them out of her bowl.  Try out different foods (stay away from avocados) and see what your bird prefers.  My bird has a deep love for oranges, but they are her occasional special treat.  Enjoy your new bird!

Too many vegies give them the squirts. But they love all vegies. We give them the ribs of roamaine lettuce often as that is waste from us making a salad.
