What are spacers because i hear people talking about how they hurt but i do not know what they are myself

oh ya and does everybody need to get them when before you get on braces

basically what they said. and they do hurt quite a bit but they work quickly and don't stay in long. mine were there for like a week

what teddy boy said is right about why you need them. and not everybody needs them, it's only if your molars are really close together.

they are little rubber bands that your orthodontist will put between your back teeth. This is done to space them out so he can put the actual braces on once there is room. And yes they do hurt.
