What are special talents and/or skills that would be beneficial to National Honor Society?

I don't know what they are trying to ask for

NHS likes to see students who not only achieve well in school but also are involved in their community or other non-academic activities at school.  Church participation, band or choir member, volunteer at the senior citizen center...etc.  they want students with a well-rounded balanced life.  They also want to see leadership skills.

But why is this question in the Special Ed section?
