What are speed training parachutes like?

Are they a good method for improving speed.........would u recomend i get one.......how are they effective

  1. it's a combo of resistance/acceleration training . . . you start off with the chute on and sprint for 30-50m and then release the chute to feel "faster" i.e. no more resistance . . . the chutes work fairly well and does help with the acceleration phase of the sprint . . . not a bad investment if it's affordable for you . . .
