What are stereotypical plots/traits/happenings in ninja/samurai type movies?

Basically im making a stop motion animations for my boyfriend for his bday and he loves those types of movies so i wanna make a spoof animation type thing with him in it. i have a few ideas because ive seen a few but i thought i might get a few more by asking on here :) thanks!
