They help thousands of patients each year to recover from illness for example. Also burn victims can recover way faster. All successfull athletes are on (designer)steroids nowadays along with other substances.

They are the safest and best drugs avalible if you ask me.

The real killers are tabacco and alcohol, look at the statistics.

They are hormones, chemicals your body produces. They can make you stronger or boast your immunity so doctors will prescribe them in certain instances but that can have adverse side effects and your bodies natural hormonal balance may never return.

Steroids are Satan in a bottle. AVOID them at all costs. They use them a lot for autoimmune diseases, among other things. They are evil nasty terrible bad stuff! Despite the overrated use of them by doctors. Most people have bad reactions to them too, like severe weight gain, they get sicker & stay sick, or like me they wig out, I thought I had a nervous breakdown, (turns out it was just a pleasant reaction to it) I shook badly for about a month (the whole time I was on it) & it messed me up so bad it took me MONTHS to get over.
