What are sum good, easy songs on my guitar.?

i have an acoustic guitar, and im just starting to learn how to play, and im not very good at chords, so anything simple would help.

My friend Jared learned "Smoke On the Water." as one of the first songs he played.  You can play it on electric and it sounds better though.

You should invest in some guitar lessons, books, dvd's, cd's.. whatever you can get your hands on.

If all else fails, you could go to youtube and find somebody that would be willing to teach you through video lessons! =]

Green Day writes some pretty simple stuff, so check that out. Good Riddance is, in my opinion, overplayed, but it'll certainly get you started.
