itchy - discharge( cottage cheesy or just any odd discharge) - smell - and if unsure go to the dr cause it could be bacterial vaginosis which is very similar as far as symptoms .. but if you have the above symptoms try some monistat and if it dont work go to the dr.. and if its your first one go to the dr anyway to make sure
