  1. 1. Change the light bulbs in your house to the new energy saver ones. They last longer and they will make your electric bill cheaper.

    2. Don't use chemical fertilizers on your lawn.

    3. Make a compost pile in your back yard. You may have to google that to see what all can go into a compost pile. You can use this as fertilizer once its done. It will help eliminate the amount of trash you throw away.

    4. Recycle news papers/cardboard, plastics, and aluminum cans.

    5. When and if you have bon fires, only burn wood and paper. Don't burn plastic, styrofoam, or anything else.

    6. Buy only products from the store (things in aerosol cans) that do not contain CFCs. (chloroflourocarbons)

    7. Don't drive everywhere you go. Cars produce pollutants. Ride your bicycle if you are just going down the street.

    8. Do not dump things such as oil, gas, used chemicals down your drains. This pollutes the water supply and is harmful to the environment. There are places that take those things and discard them for you.

    9. Put bird houses/feeders in your yard or hummingbird feeders on your trees.

    10. I can't think of a tenth thing. This was a hard list to make but hopefully it helps you out!

  2. plant shade trees on the south side of your house. Trees that shed leaves.

plant grasses, flowers, plants, and shrubs that don't need a lot of water.

Water only during the early morning hours. Never in the heat of the day.

Make sure your house is property insulated. Install 5 blade ceiling fans in rooms you use a lot.

    Install low-energy light bulbs.

Keep lights off when not using them.

Make sure doors and windows are weather sealed.

    Keep air conditioning filters clean

  3. buy a reuseable tote for shopping.  instead of taking home a plastic bag here and there.  leave them at the store.  if everyone reduced the amount of bags being used, the stores would buy less and there would be less in the world.

also, any bags you already have at home can be recycled into reuseable totes.  here in NJ, shop rite collects them to be recycled.  I save all CVs, walgreens, walmart bags and put them in the collection to be recycled.  every week when doing my family shopping i buy one new tote so that eventually I won't need to use the plastic bags anymore.

  4. Disconnect the electricity to your house, sell your vehicle, hand dig your own well.....and we'll all live in a utopian paradise.

  5. 1. get a programmable thermostat

    2. get a tankless water heater

    3. plant trees or shrubs in front of windows

    4. replace standard light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs

    5. use soaker hoses instead of sprinklers

    6. recycle

    7. unplug appliances when not in use

    8. put a 2-liter bottle filled with water in your toilet tank

    9. wash your car on the grass

    10. get low-flow showerheads

  6. NOTHING== WHAT EVER YOU DO WONT HAVE ANY AFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.   THE ENVIRONMENT IS BROUGHT ON BY NATURE AROUND EVERYONES HOMES UNLESS YOUR HOUSE IS IN ANOTHER BUILDING.

  7. Plant trees and shrubs

Don't throw yard or card waist in the drian

    Recycle
