What are the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments?

  1. Wow, some thing i learned last year really does come in handy..

    13th - Emancipation. All slaves are free.[Slavery is now illegal]

    14th - Everyone born in the US is a citizen.

    15th - US citizens have the right to vote no matter

    race, color or religion.

    * Lol last year my history teacher was insane, we had

    to memorize all the amendments and say them in front

    of the class. However, that was a year ago.. so i might

    be rusty.

    BTW; How was your trip? I wasn't on Y!A for a long time and

    when i got back i thought you had disappeared as well. lol


  2. 13th Amendment : Abolition of Slavery - To stop slavery & to make it forbidden in the US.

    14th Amendment: Citizenship - When you have the rights in the US to vote, work etc.

    15th Amendment: Racial Suffrage - There is no discrimination against any

    type of race, religion or color to vote.
