Well there is beach volleyball that has two people on each team. It is played on sand, outside on the beach. It's a lot harder to jump and spike because it's hard to jump up when you're on sand. You need lots of power, and you have to have really strong leg muscles. There is also volleyball that is played on a gym, and there are 6 players on each team.  It is played on a gym floor, so it is easier to jump and spike.

There are many different variations of volleyball.  Yeah of course there is the classic court volleyball and beach but now there is volleyball played in racquetball courts, volleyball for the disabled, foot volleyball (volleyball played in the sand with only your feet) and many more.

well there are 2 types of scoring.  1) I guess the new method (rally scoring), basically serve there is a point given to o is a point 2) the old way, you could only score a point then turn team served.

I don't know that there are two types but here are several variations to the game of volleyball, the most notable is Beach volleyball where it is played on sand and uses only 2 players instead of 6.
