  1. 1st is erosion : where the water erodes the land

2nd is transportation : this is when the water transports the bits of material which has previously been eroded and takes them downstream ;]

3rd is depostion : this is whe the water deposits/dumps the material it has been carrying as there is more of it & it has now become to heavy for the water to carry

geography is the best ;d xx !!!

  2. 1 erosion-  this is where the land gets worn away by the water

2.transportation- this is where sediments get transported by the river

    3. deposition- this is where the river dumps the sediments

but there are processes within these processes.

    erosion =

    1 Hydraulic power

this is the sheer force of the water on the river bed that erodes it.

    2. corrasion/abrasion

this is when the river carries particles of sand and silt and moves pebbles and boulders at times of high flow causing the material to rub against the bed and banks and then wears them away.

    3.corrosion

some rock materials dissolve in the river and become very acidic

    4.attrition

the laod being carried by the river collides and rubs against itself. this makes them smaller and smoother. eventually theses particles become sand and silt sized particles

    transortation

    1.traction

large boulders along the river bed

    2.saltation

smaller pebbles are bounced along the bed as the river changes it flow and velocity (speed) they are picked up and dropped.

    3. suspension

finer particles are carried along the river giving it a brown colour

    4.solution

minerals are dissolved in the water and cant be seen

  3. This is homework isn't it.
