I don't know much about Sweden other than a short jaunt through Stockholm and Visby (both of which i loved), and my dh and i hope to go back and see more of the country. What sights did you like the best? (Not interested in bars/clubs)

  1. I'm not sure there's much in the way of "must-see" in Sweden.  You should go the town hall in Stockholm, where they give the Nobel Peace Prizes, and Wasa museum was neat.  Skansen, an open-air museum of different buildings brought in from all over the country is cool, too.

The Royal Palace is cool, I remember watching a changing of the guard, either there, or in Copenhagen.  Can't remember which, and they house the crown jewels there, too.  (whichever one, or both).

I kind of think that anything you go to is more or less representative of the whole, in Sweden.  Not so much an Eiffel Tower, Neuschwantsein, sort of place.

But make sure you eat the pastries and the seafood...best lox in places like Sweden and Denmark.
