What are the 4 types of rated horse shows?

I need to know asap! I probably know what they are but have never heard of them reffered to as "rated shows". I need to know the four types! 10 pts garunteed!

    "a" rated

    "b" rated

    "c" rated

    im not sure if the last would be local or "d" rated, ive heard both


  2. Well... I'm actually looking at this two different ways. It could be that they mean SJ, Hunters, Dressage and Halter. Those are all rated, but I'm not sure, because that wouldn't be including all the shows in the Western discipline.

    The other way could be the different levels, like Open, Qualifiers, States/Provincials and Nationals? I have no idea.

  3. The only type of shows that I am familiar with are ; " open shows " ( anybody can enter ) " or "affiliated shows ( you become a member of the B.S.J.A ( British show jumping association) ), Rated, I haven't heard of that before.

    C=>lowest rated

    All however, are rated...the open, schooling, etc. shows are not rated...I am pretty sure this system is associated with USEF shows
