Wow, that's pretty stupid if you aren't allowed to take credit for your work and have pride in it. Christianity is the only religion that takes that word and makes it sinful. Jesus freakin' christ this religion blows.

I'm not to sure exactly what they are but it wasn't until the middle ages that people were even aware of the concept, a concept that would behoove the church of the time. I'm pretty sure that they have taken the sins from the bible but I just don't think that there is a list per say. Also ask yourself this, if there are seven deadly sins are there seven living virtues?

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

But don't forget the 7 things that God hates:

(1) A proud look, (2) a lying tongue, (3) hands that shed innocent blood, (4) a heart that devises wicked imaginations, (5) feet that are swift in running to mischief, (6) a false witness who speaks lies, and (7) one who sows discord among brethren.
