So I know that there are five properties for sure (obtain/use energy, made up of cells, respond to their environment, grow and develop, and reproduce) but eight properties? What are the other three? Thanks for your help!

  1. I think you have listed (in the order you have given) metabolism, organization, adaptation, growth, and reproduction.

Two others would be homeostasis (the regulation of the internal environment to maintain a constant state) and response to stimuli.

I'm sorry, but I don't know an eighth.

  2. Life also...

    6) eats junk food,

    7) asks for help on its homework, and

    8) dies.

  3. Basic unit-Cells

    Metabolic activities

    Respiration

    Digestion

    Blood circulation

    Excretion

    Response with environment

    Reproduction

These are the essential properties of life
