  1. change in the weather! never a dull moment...

  2. If they are good to work, it's bad to lose them.  If not, it's a good thing.

  3. As a "charter" pilot in small aircraft, Cessna Jets/King Air, there are no attendants but I have both Navy and Air Force friends that fly for Delta, Southwest, United, US Air, etc.  I have dear friends that are stewards as well, both male/female, mainly with Delta.

As with any job change is good.  Attendants are assigned by seniority and the needs of that particular aircraft.  The more senior the longer "trips" you can request, equals money and retirement time.  Attendants deal with every personality each and every trip which may cause an "attitude", but still nice to the client.  Once seen as a lucrative, glamorous, beneficial job the attendant now is nothing more than a waiter/waitress in most passengers eyes.  I have been told by all this outlook changed in 1991 when "weight restrictions" and appearance (looks) was ruled as "discrimination" and any applicant with qualifications could be "hired".

Change is good for a person to work with different pilots and attendants.  Assignments of the same crew can create friction at times and refreshing with a rotating staff makes going to work more enjoyable.

Good Luck in life, stay positive.
