  1. It depends on what job you pick and then availability of the tech school slot for that job. You leave 8 weeks before the tech school date so when you finish basic you don't have to wait around a bunch. Most jobs have 2 to 3 dates every month to pick from.

    I know it's pretty norm to hear this so sorry. Talk to a recruiter, honestly it's the best thing to do. They will be able to answer all your questions. It took me 3 months of hounding my recruiter before I had all the info I needed to make the right decision.
