What are the BENEFITS & DRAWBACKS of listining to online radio?

as a radio dj in both a commercial radio station and online station, online radio has certainly provided the folowing

1.access to the world radio genre

2.the ability to find out essential info overseas

3.broadening your horizons from differnt musics of countries

4.possibility of meeting new people

5.discovering the world u really live in

the drawbacks are

1not understanding certain genres

2 you dont have enough bandwidth

3 buffering is always a problem

4 you may exceed your download limits

5 if your listening to them you aint listening to me

One of the main drawbacks of on-line radio is the inability to "localize"  You can't hear weather or traffic or local news.

If all you want is music, on-line is good.
