  1. That depends what you want from any such school and where you are.

NTOEC, Calvert, Oxford are the ones that spring most readily to my mind but, as I said, without knowing where you are or, more importantly, what you want from a school or from your future...I've no way of knowing whether the criteria I rely on to judge 'best' are the same (or similar) things  you'd expect from any potential 'best' school!

For instance, we're unschoolers - we are not hung up on getting qualifications, maybe you are (or maybe qualifications are what your parents want for you), hence my 'best' schools are not going to be judged on their success rates whereas maybe success rates are one of the things that matter to you/your parents when rating any school.

Sorry but the term 'best' is just too subjective for a definitive answer.

  2. The best virtual/online school out there is Keystone National High School. It is an accredited and an international high school. Also it is private and not public. Any student of any country can enroll in their online high school, so this means that it covers the whole world and it meets your needs. You can learn at your own pace. You can complete on course in not less than eight (8) weeks and not more than a year. If you feel you cannot complete the course within a year, you can call the Customer Support or Student Services Representatives.

I have provided their website below for you.

  3. for k thru 8

time4learning is one I use I do not know if it is the best, I only use it for math.

  4. Well timeforlearning.com is good for I think younger kids.

K12 is another different good program which serves all states (ages k - 12 as the program states in its name) - and depending on your state you can usually get into it for free as many states they have an "online academy" that offers all of the k12 programs and lesson plans but technically is a "public school" funded by the state. This is a good option if you live in one of the online academy states.
