I know that there is still a chance you can become pregnant using the "pull out" method, but I was wondering what percentage of chance was compared to NOT using pull out method? Is it still really high, or is it reduced dramatically?

  1. I would say your chances are really really high because I am now pregnant with my second daughter!

We used the pull out method. LOL

  2. "precum" is sperm that comes out before a man completley ejaculates.

the sperm that is in this is just as alive and fertile as the sperm that comes out when he ejaculates completley

  3. there isn't really a percentage.

but i'll tell you its common, it happened to me.

  4. One in four that use the method become pregnant in the first year of using it.

  5. That is how most of us got to this earth ....

    That method has 0% reliability.

  6. you cant really put a percentage on it, its more based on the male and if they have control of the situation. my husband and i used the method for years and never got pregnant off it, but he also mastered it. they have to learn to pull out in time and make sure they dont get any precum in there either. its a skill to say the least. we didn't get pregnant until we decided to and he came in me. btw i was also on birth control pills for that little extra protection.

  7. It's a great method if you're trying to become pregnant.  Congratulations if you're trying to conceive.

  8. It only takes a drop to make you pregnant, so the chance might be slightly reduced, but it is the least effective form of birth control.

  9. 50/50, it depends on who is pulling what and in which direction.

  10. There is no percentage that would be applicable to the situation because it would depend on each ejaculation.  Even if he does not ejaculate inside of you, without him even feeling or knowing it, he releases pre-ejaculatory fluid that has his sperm in it.  I guess you could tell yourself that it reduces the chances if you pull out, given that there are millions of sperm in just one ejaculation, but it only takes one, and there are more than one sperm in the pre-ejaculatory fluid.  If you dont want to use a condom, why not get on some other method of birth control?  There is the pill, the shot, the ring and even ones that last for years....listed below is a website with the different options you have available to you.  Good luck.

  11. Here's another question.. "what are the chances of being injured if I drive my car into a brick wall?"  The odds are pretty similar..

  12. There are MANY sperm cells in a drop of "pre-ejaculatory" fluid. In fact, there are FAR more than enough to conceive. Therefore the odds are not really reduced as much as you might think. I'm sure there are tons of 'pull-out' babies running around out there.

  13. every single person i know that is pregnant or has gotten pregnant in the last few years (im in college) has gotten pregnant for 1 reason only, using that method.   so im sure you might get away w/ using it for a while, but itll catch up w/ youat some point

  14. I dont know a percentage but it there is a huge chance of pregnancy when you are doing this... unless you actually WANT a baby then start using protection...

  15. 87% effective if done "correctly" LOL...  i don't really know specifically what correctly is but hope it helps anyway!  :)
