What are the COSTS of idling my van?

Question

I drive a citreon berlingo 2lt diesel van and make a lot of stops with the engine running. (idling)

Can anyone give me details on how much fuel this uses>? how much this cost's?and subsoiled the dangers to the environment.

Less than  it'll cost to replace after you  leave it un-attended for some chav to steal it, think fella..it just isn't worth it.

But to answer your question this is the motor industry standard..almost all manufacturers use this...very useful information..hope it helps, it's for trucks but it is a good guide.
