What are the FMCG work timings in India and are Saturdays off/Half days/Altrernate Saturdays?

How about specifically for Marketing function and that does not include Sales. Sales people ofcourse have some 23 days rotation work assigned to them on field per month as per my understanding. I am interested in knowing about Marketing function per se.

Tanya, you have mentioned, that you are looking for which FMCG Company in India for a purpose.

In most of the the companies one has to work for almost 50 hours a week, at the most.

Where as few companies have 5 days a week, and most of them work for 6 days a week. Some allows off on second and fourth Saturdays, in addition weekly off on Sundays.

bt generally frm 9 am to 6 pm

and saturdays are full day. sunday off

Hi Tanya,

You have to work almost 50hrs to 70hrs every Week.even though Saturday is peek business day here. you would get a week day off either any working day, but instead of you another staff has to do your job. some states even Sunday also main business day. In the interview point you have a clarification with your HR.
