  1. In Argentina, the "Cataratas del Iguazu" ("big water" in Guarani) are located near Puerto Iguazzu, Province of Misiones.

Will fly within Argentina to Iguazu, Argentina - Cataratas (IGR)

In Brasil, the "Cataratas do Iguaçu" are located near Foz do Iguaçu in the Brazilian state of Paraná.

Will fly within Brasil to Iguassu Falls, Brazil - Cataratas (IGU)

BY the way, you will be really near of "Ciudad del Este" Paraguay. Good tax free deals!

  2. Spectacular falls situated on the border of Brazil/Paraguay and Argentina -  walk-ways on the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the river, giving breathtaking views -  would like to visit again.

  5. Cataratas de Iguazu (Foz do Iguazu in Brasil) is a 270 foot fall of the Rio Parana over the edge of a basalt plateau in the extreme north of Argentina (Misiones Prov.) and Southern Brasil. The falls themselves are a series of cascades spread over a distance of more than a mile, several of them huge including Garganta del Diablo (devils throat).

The falls are included in national parks in both nations, and the parks make it easy to see the falls as well as the surrounding subtropical rain forest.

When she saw them, Elinor Roosevelt is reputed to have said "Poor Niagara." The falls are one of the most stunning places on earth and well worth a visit.

  6. They are in North East Argentina in a province called Missiones. Actually part of the falls are in Argentina and part are in Brazil; they are on the border.
