Question:

What are the Makeup Must Haves?

I'm not that new to makeup, but I'm just trying to have more of a variety. Also, I'm looking for a good concealer and good quality brushes that are not super expensive. I'm willing to spend some for good quality that won't break my skin (or my bank) out.

  1. I love MAC

  2. ok then

  3. MAC.

  4. get bee luscious. it is the best breathable makeup on the market. it is kind of spendy but it is worth it.

  5. for brushes try Sonia Kashuk brushes. they sell them at target and are pretty cheap and are very good quality :)

and there are some that come in a set

  6. I would recommend anything clinique. I just recently started using clinique and was amazed by the results in the space of a few days.

If you want some good quality brushes you may need to splash a bit of cash. My beauty advisor told me that if you buy cheap brushes they only last for a maximum of six months then need replaced whereas if you buy something a bit more expensive and of a better quality it will last a life time.

The best concealer that i know is the rimmel one. its pretty cheap but hides all signs of spots. they become completely invisible. Plus it lasts for ages. Mines lasted well over six months.

  7. mascara, eyeliner, lipgloss, and foundation

Mascara: you dont need to get expensive mascara!

Anything works! Alll the mascaras ive tried are great

Eyeliner: Cheap/ and expensive are all the same

Lipgloss: make sure to get lipgloss that holds

    lip plumer lipgloss always rocks!

Foundation:  spring for the expensive foundation!

  8. mmhmm..

i must go with mascara, eyeliner, powder, blush and lipgloss..

not using any foundation and concealer because they will only clog pores and ruin my healthy skin....

if you're looking for a safe concealer then i must suggest you not to buy cheap one like covergirl, maybelline... the safest drugstore brand will be revlon and they work like magic... but still.... brands like clinique offers the best for your skin.....

as for good quality brushes, you can find it in your local pharmacy... like manicare and the like... they work just fine for me if you're on a budget... many people will say MAC brushes... but i can't see why i have to spend a lot of money on that.... they are worth like AU$40 eac here... i know.... or you can find some drugstore brands like maybelline and revlon that sell brushes...

    hope this helps...

  9. You definitely should check out mark. if you are looking for high-quality affordable products.

Their brushes are all real hair brushes, but only cost $5 - 8 each. Their Invisible Touch concealer ($5) works really well.

Most of their products are customizable and come in convenient packaging. Like their hookups - that allow you to connect 2 items like mascara, gloss, eyeliner together for a convenient package. These are great to keep in your makeup bag.

  10. There so many good lines out there, drugstore brands and department store brands, I like to go to the cosmetic department and play for hours and you will begin to find your staples.  I believe it is always good to have a black, brown, cream, eyeshadow.  Mascaras, and clear lip gloss and a neutral blush.  I would suggest getting a brush set.  I would try  http://www.eyeslipsface.com/brushes/e.l.... MAC is owned by Estee Lauder which owns Clinique which has a cheaper price point so try Clinique for your brushes.  I love concealer that reflect light and are not heavy, all lines carry items like that.
