    don't have a clue why these were chosen but the ones I've listed were from 1970 I played with as child. Must have been more rows over who played with what along with all the fights during the game. Happy days lol.

    they used them in particular because it was everyday around the house, non expensive items. it was relistic items that were around the house.

  7. I think the original pieces were, the ship , the hat, the doggie, the iron. I am not sure why.

    and there was a horse and rider, cannon, a car, train (deluxe edition only), scottie dog,iron, top hat, thimble, old boot and from 1999 a sack of money (though gordon brown wants them all back in taxes!)

  10. the board bits are all streets in london - i cant list them all but for instance pall mall and leceiceste square, trafalga, regent street, piccadilly etc and the train stations are london train stations.
