  1. Below is the link that you can find the current bulletin & archived bulletins. It is a list of what priority dates are current for what categories.

    You didn't say which category you are in (Family based & what type, or employment based & what type so can't let you know what priority date is current in your category) if you include that information I can look it for your specific category for you but you can see it on the current bulletin from the link below.

    .As you can see from the link, in some categories they are completely unavailable,  in some cases they are only now processing priority dates from as far back as March 1986 & in others as recent as being current to application being file now so it varies widely.

    If you can’t understand the list edit your question with more info on what type you are applying for & I will get back with the date.

    EDIT:

    K, there are 5 different types of family based & within each of these 5 categories there are different current priority dates depending on your citizenship.

    The 5 different types of family preferences are:

    FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES

    First:  Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Citizens:  23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference.

    Second:  Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent

    Residents:  114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, and any unused first preference numbers:

    A.  Spouses and Children:  77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

    B.  Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older):  23% of the overall second preference limitation.

    Third:  Married Sons and Daughters of Citizens:  23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.

    Fourth:  Brothers and Sisters of Adult Citizens:  65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences.

    Each one of these countries have different dates: if you have citizenship of Mexico, Philappines, India or Mainland China. If you citizenship is diffent than this then you are in the first column (All Charge- ability Areas Except Those Listed).

    So yeah, figure out which family based you are (1st, 2nd A, 2nd B, 3rd, 4th) then look up on the table about one thrid of the way down the page (the table under the section reading "5.  On the chart below, the listing of a date for any class indicates that the class is oversubscribed (see paragraph 1); "C" means current, i.e., numbers are available for all qualified applicants; and "U" means unavailable, i.e., no numbers are available.  (NOTE:  Numbers are available only for applicants whose priority date is earlier than the cut-off date listed below.) "  )

    Then once your priority dates becomes current they start to process your application. This can take up to another couple of years. ONce your priority date becomes current ehn you need to be checking the processing times which is a differnt bulletin. Yeah I know, it's all very confusing!

    Here is the link to processing times below but remember you only need to reerence this after your priority date has become current.
