What are the SATs II based on? 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER?

I'm scoring for a UC school, and it says my exam requirements are SAT I or ACT (writing included) and SAT II (2 courses of your choice). I guess I'm going to take ACTs because they're easier, but what are the SATs II based on? I mean, what subjects can I choose from? Do I have to take 2 subject tests? And is there a book for the SATs II on the subject(s) I want to be tested on?

Thanks!

  1. There are many different subjects in all areas. Math1 and 2. Lit, American History, World History, Bio. Chem, Physics, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese. There are wayy more than that, but I don't want to just list them. You can find them all at collegeboard.com. You have to take 2 for UCs, and each subject test has prep books to help you.
