What are the TV Shows "Lost" and "Heroes" about?

Can you give me a description of what each show is about? People are telling me I would love them, but never tell me what they are about.

Lost is a dramatized/scifi version of Gilligan's Island and Heroes is X- Men without the cheesy costumes.

Lost is amazing you should defo watch it.

Plane crashes, survivers discover they're not alone on the island and that they all have creepy connections and where 'sent' to the island for a reason.

Heroes is a fantasy drama set present day and the story line consists of the stories of people all over the globe born with 'powers' hence the title 'Heroes'.

Thier powers range from being able to fly which yes, doesnt sound very original to my personal favourite, being able to control time :)

In my opinion i think that the program is very good and definatley worth a watch although i would reccomend watching from the first episode as it would help explain things a little more

I'm afraid i do not watch lost and i do not know much more than it is set on an island and one of the actors has the same first name as me :)

Lost is about a plane crash with survivors on an island. Each survivor has something about them, that makes them special. First season was good, after that they just kept adding stupid things on the island and I was not interested anymore.

Hero's is my fav. Its about ordinary people with special powers, and another group of people who are trying to contain all the "Heros" so that they can not use there powers anymore. Then you have 1 person who wants to absorb all the powers from all the "Hero's" so he can be one powerful person. Its just a really interesting show.
