Question:

What are the VFR Altitude requirements for flights BELOW 3000' agl?

I understand that above 3000' agl the rules are 0-179 you fly altitudes of ODD thousands plus 500 and 180-359 you fly even thousands plus 500, but what about when you are flying below 3000' agl?

  1. In the US there are none either, sort of the big sky theory.


  2. There are no set altitudes..but keep in mind that you need to be clear of obstacles and populated/unpopulated areas by the set limitations
