I have from 1941 to 1947 (20 pieces) "walking" silver dollars. My great aunt gave them to me and I would like to know if a buyer is scamming me They are not in great condition (details of body worn off on some) but they are not tattered and have been kept fairly safe you can see dates and where it says liberty clearly. Also "in god we trust" clearly visible on all. What should I accept for this set?

  1. Have you tried searching on eBay to see what they are going for and in what condition?

Also, look around locally for a coin dealer to see what they would offer you.

Just check a few places.  It will take some research.

    Good luck.

  2. no less than 250 i think

  3. I assume you mean Walking Liberty half dollars, correct?

In average circulated condition and with silver at present levels, you should be able to get at least $6 each for them. High grade coins will be worth more, and as-new coins will be quite a bit more. 1941 through 1947 are relatively common dates regardless of mint mark.
