What are the activies that can be done in a campaign to save elephant and tiger from extinction?

Problem is, the countries we are talking about are poor; so people do anything to make a living.

Get rid of the people and the problem goes away; however, the people are here to stay and no one on Earth except China believes in controlling human population, so there we are.  

There is nothing anyone can do except delay the inevitable.  Sorry for being such a cynic, but, well, it's going to happen, animals go extinct quicker by humans than anything else...

To have strict laws against the killing of elephants and tigers.

Example 20 years imprisonment for those found guilty.

You could throw a "Save tigers and elephants" party, charge an entrance fee and have loads of activities inside that people have to pay a small fee to participate in, for example maybe a dance contest, prize tombola, etc... then you could send the money you earn to WWF or another deserving charity.

1) inform people not to use such products like tiferskin/ivory

2) remmber tiger claws r NOT lucky- if they were then why did a tiger die for it

3)stop destoying the habitats of such animals

4) do captive breeding programms to help repopulate them

5)educate poeple on conservation

6) punish poachers more severly

7) stop poaching

8) tell pppl tigers r better in wild then as pets

I was not aware that either of these was in danger of extinction.  Do you have some supporting data you could provide?

Catch as many people as possible from using ivory from the elephant. Stop people hunting tigers for fur. They carry on even though they are not allowed to and are pains to catch.  You could adopt one and give so much towards it a month.  You could volunteer for tiger or elephant group. You could join in with fund raising ideas against these two animals.
