  1. Juries are generally made up of diverse  and socioeconomic backgrounds.  They see evidence differently than the court who live the law on a daily basic.  The Jury puts the human factor into the equation.  Juries force the lawyers to make their case.


  2. I think the main problem with a jury is the lawerys that present the information.  The prosecution for example can and often times do make an innocent person look guilty.  And the defense can make an obvious guilty person look innocent.  It is all politics.
