What are the advantages and disadvantages of large population?

Disadvantages :

- Scarcity of food , water , jobs, educational institutes ,electricity, medical facilities etc.

- sever level environment pollution(soil - water and air ),

- Traffic jamming, More illegal activities,Lawlessness,errosion of moral & values.

- Exploitation in jobs,unfair favours, immoral trafficing,very high inflation rate etc.

In short "Hungry stomuch is root of all sins".Jis desh ka bachpan bhookha ho uski jawani kya hogi?

Advantages :

- Proper planning can convert curse in to blessing - if God has given a stomuch per person , also has given two hands to work for filling the same.

Disadvantage : More crowd in less space.

I dont see any advantage in large population..

If you asked about disadvantage than i will say India face many probelm because of population.

Water, Electricity, Food, Clothes can be a large problem...

We'll in a huge population there are many people to pay taxes for the government where they can then establish schools and other public places. Yet at the same time these schools and places won't end up helping the whole country just the higher class ones. If a country has a big population, when a disease starts it'll effectalmost everyone. thats why the black plauge in europe was so terrible, because there was a huge population and it was killing everyone.

There could be a possible point in where the population is too high, and the city or state or country cannot hold that many people...

or

Too many people will consume too much food and the food will be gone quickly..

Advantages = more jobs and a variety of services, the city can grow to evenly distribute different job types.  There will be more labor available.

Disadvantages = city can't hold that many people and doesn't have enough funding for expansion.   There can be more unemployed people if the city can't provide jobs because it is poor.
