What are the advantages/disadvantages of having your internet and phone service bundled.?I was wandering?

It all depends on your carrier.  Some carriers give discounts based on the package you have for your phone service in combination with your internet, or if you add other services such as TV and cell phone, you can get a combined billing discount.

I like it , if you go into it you might want to get the battery backup for the modem so your phone will work if the power goes out. Let me add that if your service goes out you got to use a cell phone to call them and tell them to get it fixed. No big problem though.
