What are the advantages of carbon emission?

Could anyone give me a very breif explanation on the advantages of CO2 emission into the atmosphere?

They are evidence that some being (like us) is taking oxygen and breathing out - i.e. are alive.

There aren't any; it is simply an unwelcome byproduct of energy generation in power plants, heating systems, and transportation.  Since civilization isn't about to give up on the advantages of these uses, carbon emissions will continue.

Increased CO2 in the atmosphere MAY increase plant growth.

Increased CO2 in the atmosphere MAY put off any coming ice age.

Increased CO2 in the atmosphere DOES counteract global dimming of the sun caused by particulate pollution.
