What are the advantages of electro culture?

is it economical? what makes it more convenient? is it environmental-friendly? is it better to use this method than to use fertilizers?

Here is a link that has some info.  If half of what is claimed in the link is true then it could revolutionize farming on a small scale.  Trying to use it on thousands of acres (hectors) might not be feasible.

While it might be better for the environment but not having so many fertilizers leached into the water supply, the economics, and convenience of it still has to be tested.
