  1. Well the nanocrystalline (monocrystalline and polycristalline) are basically more efficient then the silicon based photovoltaic cell. Silicon-based solar cell are one generation older than the crystalline bassed.

    I am not sure but I think crystalline cells last longer(up to 40 years) than silicon ones
