Recycling generally lowers the raw material requirements for the recycled materials.  It can also be used as a means of generating energy from the waste.  Many recycled items have secondary uses, such as using newsprint for animal bedding.  A major hidden benefit is in the savings in landfill space required.

  5. We save trees, there isnt as much trash in the oceans and on land fills, less chance of bringing up global warming.we dont need to use as much of earths resources. less pollution
