Through passing this exam, you will be able to advice or take mutual fund order from customers directly. You can use your ARN number, that will be received after passing the exam, and the commission (known as the entry load if applying through agent) will be paid to your account that is associated with the ARN number.

Not only this, you are required to pass this exam to join with any company that is dealing with mutual funds.
