  1. Okay, armed with new information, here you go:

Florida residents have two options for an annual pass.  One is called a "Florida Resident Seasonal Pass."  This ticket costs $254 for adults and does have blackout dates as well as not including free parking at the parks.

Florida residents also can get special pricing on the annual passes everyone can get.  It costs $382, as compared to the $500 non-residents pay.

All annual passes have benefits such as merchandise discounts (10% off at Downtown Disney's Disney store, for instance), some food discounts (the Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom), park hopping, and discounts on room packages.    The Florida Seasonal pass doesn't include the free parking at the theme parks (now $12 per day; I don't know who they think they are kidding).  Between the blackout dates and the parking, it might make more sense to purchase a regular annual pass.

  2. good info from marvymom.

i would add that the blackout dates on the seasonal pass are the week between christmas and new years, the 2 weeks around easter, and the dog days of summer, sometime in june through mid august (aug 14th this year) for me, the seasonal pass is a better option because  i just dont want to go during those blackout periods anyway, they are CRAZY busy or really hot. even if i had an annual pass i dont want to go during those times.

and we never pay for parking because we always stay at a resort, which includes free parking at all parks. so it just depends on your situation
