What are the affects of snorting Lexapro?

Ya, okay I was just wondering. I keep hearing it makes u really happy, well tell what u know. And i don't need all u anti-drug users calling me a dumb ***.

it takes 3 weeks for it to work . and can cause depression you hurt your nose and organs and no speech here k just hate lexapro it all most made me comit suicide ,

Lexapro (escitalopram) is an antidepressant medication. It's causes some mild GI upset, so I imagine it's bound in pill form with standard buffers and bulk agents. Those chemicals, in addition to the medication itself, can cause a lot of nasal and post-nasal irritation.

As a drug, it is used to treat depression, and takes 4-6 weeks of continuous therapy to have any noticeable effect on your neurotransmitters. Simply speaking, it doesn't matter how "fast" you get it into you body. You aren't going to see any effects for weeks, aside from a very mild stimulation. You'd probably be more stimulated from taking a decongestant for your cold.

What you probably *will* experience is a *very* irritated nasal passage and the potential for a sinus infection.

U should not snort anything unless you want to damage your brain and your body. No one is immortal and no one is immune.

nothing. it takes about three weeks to build up enough lexapro in your system befor you start seeing changes in your serotonin levels, so snorting it once wont do anything.
