  1. There aren't any.  Global warming is a proven fact.  It's not a matter of "believe" or not--facts are not subject to change because of someone's opinion, one way or the other.

You can always find crackpots advancing some screwy alternative.  You still have people around who claim the Earth is flat.  That doesn't mean they have an "argument" against a round Earth.  It jsut means they have serious psychological problems.  Its the same with global warming.

  2. Here are 26 of them:

And the scientific reasons why they're wrong.

  3. Global Warming is a fact the Earth is (extremely) slowly warming, and you can't deny that. What is up for debate is the cause- us or nature?

    1. the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere have historicly had nothing to do with the temperature.

    2. if cars were the cause of Global Warming, how would we have gotten out of the ice age? I'm pretty sure there weren't cars thousands of years ago.

    3. CO2 is like food for plants, the more they get it the more they grow, and the more O2, or oxygen they put out for us. How can feeding plants harm the environment?

    4. The Earth isn't even at its peak temperatures, it has been much hotter than this in the past.

    5. in the 1970's there was a huge scare that cars and CO2 were sending us into a global cooling period. Now they say the Earth is warming. How can we believe them?

    6. while some ice may be melting at the North Pole, Southern ice is thicker than ever.

    7. melting ice isn't killing Polar Bears, the Polar Bear population has risen steadily over the past 50 years.

  4. My biggest objection is that this talk of global warming, global ice age back to global warming has been going on since the mid-1800's.  And it's never happened either way.  My other big objection is that paying "carbon credits" goes to Al Gore and other investors.  Nothing to do with helping the Earth.

  5. surely it has harmfull effects...

  6. This sites explains the 50 most common arguments against global warming:

  7. You know that it is funny that around 60 years ago people were very scared at how hot it was on Earth. Then, durring the industrial revolution when we were just blasting CO2 into the atmosphere, a funny thing happened. The Earth got colder... A lot colder! There was a big public fear in the 70's that we were headed to another ice age. Then what happened? It got warmer, a lot warmer. In 1998 it peaked. The temperature of the Earth had risen an average of 2 degrees. Then what happened? It has been getting colder for the past ten years. This winter 27 United States cities reported the coldest winter in over a decade. Sydney Australia normally has a summer sometimes up to 103 degrees. Their summer this year was only 87 degrees. There is one million square miles of more ice in Antartica than ever before. 31,000 Scientists say global warming is a farse and the opposite is going on. Our Sun has been silent with solar activity for the past three years which is not normal. These things happen in cycles. In the end of the 1700's we had what is called the little ice age where the Earth cooled and the Sun took a little nap. This will happen over and over again. The reason everyone is in such a debate is because we are just becoming aware of this cycle. Come on? The big light bulb in the sky has a million times more influence over our environment than our automobiles. CO2 has always been on Earth and has nothing to do with Global Warming... That is when the Globe is Warming, but it is not I asure you! Cold Weather on the way!

  8. no arguments just tarries or compo set of two Chiantis that can't see eye to eye and don't know how to stop it

  9. Many of the arguments against Global Warming are actually arguments against some of the proposed solutions to global warming "problem"

    Such as:

    1.  The using many of our crops natural sugars to form ethanol that can power our cars.

This disagreement comes from the fact that there are more efficient, more natural ways of obtaining ethanol than many of our crops, including corn.  Mycellium is a better example, than them.  Also, much of the deforestation, and loss of soil for farming, can be drastically reduced through the use of mycellium over corn or other crops in producing ethanol.

    2.   Use of key protocols such as Kyoto to curb the emissions of the U.S. and other industrialized nations.

The truth is, this agreement is SERIOUSLY in need of being updated, even if the agreement was fully complied with, the industrialized world would easily become dwarfed in the near future by nations that are never part of this, but are becoming more industrialized, and are rapidly growing in their emissions.  This includes China, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia, they will easily dwarf the U.S., Japan, and the European Union in the near future, and there is NO Policy targeting them, only the currently industrialized world.
