What are the average SAT scores for 2008?

Question

out of 2600, I got a 1340.

2600 / 2 = 1300, which is half of course, meaning I'm a little OVER 50%.

Reading : 460

Writing : 420

Math : 460

multiple choice - 46

essay - 7

?

I've seen other people's scores, which are around 600 per section. this was my first time taking it, AND I did not study one bit at all. I'm horrible at math, but I'm pretty good at reading + writing. I'm confused?

it's out of 2400. and yes most people do get 1800+ but people like you and me unfourtantley have to study a little harder (i also scored a 1340)

hahahah you dont just cut 2400 in half..thats not how it works....

for one thing the scores you can get are between 200 and 800...you get a free 200 points on each section for just signing your name..

i would say the national avg. would most likely be around the middle 1500's..what you have right now is pretty low to be honest
