Currently, my handicap is a 5.2, but its going down and I've been playing well lately (my last two rounds were +1 and E). I don't have much distance (250-265 driver), but a d**n good short game. I'm looking at possibly Pepperdine, Stanford, Harvard, or UC San Diego, but am open to more suggestions. To add, my grades, tests scores, ec activities are all way above the standards at most of these schools (except maybe Harvard). Basically, just looking for scores of a medium-low end DI or high DII school. Thanks

  1. you are eligable division 2 play anything you can before june

  2. I was listening to a coach from a Division one school who was looking for golfers that shot 74 or lower to recruit them for his team.  That should give you an estimate.

  3. 5.2 isnt going to come close to cutting it D1 for schools that give a hoot about golf.  I played D2 and we had 8-10 guys who were scratch or so.  But we were one of the higher ranked teams in the country.  If you can shoot low to mid 70's from the back tees with tournament pressure, you can play D2 or D3 golf for a lot of teams.
