What are the average wages for somebody in Mexico -- say, for McDonalds?

Average McDamage's worker in Mexico gets US$100 a week....perhaps $125....A WEEK!!!!......The $5.50 an hour its not true!...Average mexican worker including McDamage's are not bigger than US$125 a WEEK!!!!.....

No, No, No...teachers and nurses don't make that much.  More likely less than two dollars an hour...that would be more than most restaurant workers make.  If you are thinking of working in Mexico...not gonna happen.  You must have a work visa...hich means you must find an employer who will write a lteer to immigration stting he is hiring you for a job for wich he cannot find a Mexican citizen...so only people who are highly qualified in much needed skills get work visas.  Unemployment in Mexico is high and wages are VERY low.

I asked a worker at Burger King, and she said she made about 460 pesos a week.  That is about $40.00.  Really, you are a dog, if you work in places like these.  Or at least you are treated so.  You miss a day, they fire you.  Besides, you need a work visa to work in Mexico.  And to do that, you need a sponsor.  McDonald´s would p**s on your face before doing that, because they hire only low class citizens.

i don't know about McDonalds but at a Hotel I stayed at in Cancun we found out that the staff was making about five dollars a day from one of the laundry people that worked there.

The minimum wage in Mexico is just under $6 US per day. Not per hour, per DAY.

I do not know of an actual hourly wage for a person in general as in McDonald's but I do know what security guards, constructions workers and people like that make. My husband works as a security guard in Monterrey and brings home about $1800 pesos per week, = to $175. I am also having a home built in the mountains of San Luis Potosi and I pay daily per person $12 American money. I know it is not much but that is $2 more than they are usually paid.
