Lived with a Vietnam Vet for 13 years who couldn't sleep from 4-6AM because he was still expecting "incoming"   He died at 42 stress to the max.  He was a proud man who felt that at least he survived when so many of his buddies didn't so who was he to bellyache?   The toll goes on and on and onto the families in all sorts of ways of those who have delayed stress also called PTSD.

Oh my god, I can't believe you are asking this. Well, thank god you live in a country where you don't see war besides what you see in the movies. War is bad TO START WITH, that is the bad effect first of all.

While you were born free, in a prosperously peaceful country, some born different place and all they have known in their lives is war and war.

Poverty, instability, insecurity, robing, raping, murdering, shooting, wounding, fleeing, hurting, etc,

and now you want the bad effects of war?

"I have seen kids that were supposed to be in school and learn, or play like normal kids use AK's and shoot at one another through alleys etc"- Somalia.
