What are the bad side effects of steroids?

I am talking about the kind that bodybuilders would take.

What kind of steroids are you asking about?  Prednisone?  Why would you be taking steroids? For how long?  Extended use of any steroid can take a toll on your health.  I took high doses of Prednisone for 2 years for a health problem.  If I hadn't taken them, I would have died. But the effects from the steroids left me extremely over-weight, a moon face. a hump on my back, and weak leg muscles.  I've eventually got past most of the steroid side-effects, but the weight is still an issue.

the kind body builders use have all kinds of side effects depending on dose and lenth of use, but they all have them ranging from increased body hair, increases aggrerssion, sterility, enlargement of the heart muscsle it goes on and on. might as well wake up daily and take a dose of poison. not a good idea
